Greetings,
I am looking to join a company where I can develop my Warehouse / Logistics / Inventory / Import Export and purchase skills. I am writing to your esteemed organization seeking a potential position.
Presently I am working in Oman, available to join immediately.
15 Years’ Store/ Warehouse/Logistic/Purchase & Inventory Experience in Muscat (Oman),
With Valid Oman Driving Licence.
Job Description
• Responsible for timely purchase of materials,coordination
within the team.
• Negotiate with local and international suppliers on
purchasing in terms of best price, payment terms & delivery.
• Responsible for the preparation and processing of purchase
orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain good relations and efficient coordination with local &
international suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Responsible for entire logistics and documentation activities.
• Negotiate prices with logistics/shipping companies and
freight forwarders.
• Scrutinizing Pre-shipment and Post shipment documentation.
• Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure on time
delivery.
• Arranging customs clearance through Bayan System.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those
to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
• Preparing the costing & Stock updating to the Inventory
software.
• Raising & issuing Customer Invoice, Delivery Notes &Internal
Transfer Notes.
• Arrange the Local (Retail, Whole Sale, Hypermarket) &
Export Deliveries
• Ensure receipt of invoice and complete documentation from
the suppliers & couriers and forward the same to the accounts
department for payment processing.
• Co-ordinate with accounts for timely release of freight
payment to forwarders / Transporters.
• Carry out weekly, monthly as well as quarterly stock take and
stock count to evaluate stock level.
• Perform other stock-related duties, including returning,
packing, pricing, and labeling supplies.
• Purchase, Sales & Stock Statement Reports to management.
• Store Petty Cash handling.
• Handling Warehouse Manpower (Drivers & Labours )
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned.
