As a Team Leader for the Product Picking team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate picking of products for customer orders. You will lead a team of product pickers, ensuring that they work collaboratively to meet daily targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate a team of product pickers to achieve daily picking targets.
- Assign tasks and monitor productivity to ensure efficient workflow.
- Train new team members on picking procedures and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the team.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the picking process.
- Uphold company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
