Huawei launched two new P30 series flagship smartphones, smart glasses, earphones, and new Watch GT editions, and a new power bank at its event which was held recently. The new SuperCharge power bank packs in a 12,000mAh battery capacity and a two-way 40W charging feature.
Since the Huawei SuperCharge power bank has a 40W (10V=4A) USB Type-C output which features ultra-fast charging - the SuperCharge power bank can also charge MacBooks and other laptops which support USB Type-C PD charging. Even though the power bank is a mammoth-sized 12,000mAh capacity, it can be charged to 100 per cent is around 2 hours and 14 minutes with a 40W charger.
The power bank also gets a USB Type-A port with a maximum 40W output value. The SuperCharge power bank also gets 12-Layer Comprehensive Safety Protection. The power bank has got four LED charge indicators for battery level indicators and also a button to check the charge status.
The USB-A port gives out the maximum output of 40W but on a standardized basis, only devices which are compatible with the SuperCharge standard can benefit from maximum speeds. The second port which is present is a USB-C and offers Power Delivery charging which is capable of charging up quickly non-Huawei devices. The power bank also gets the normal power button and LED light indicators.
The Huawei 12,000mAh SuperCharge power bank will be available in White and Blue colours and will be priced at EUR 99 which is roughly around Rs. 7,700.
Aside from the power bank, Huawei also launched the P30 and the P30 Pro flagship smartphones. Both the smartphones are powered by a Kirin 980 chipset and also offers OLED screens with in-display fingerprint readers and also brings in 32-megapixel selfie cameras with a teardrop notch display.
Huawei also launched their smart glasses in collaboration with Korean luxury eyewear company Gentle Monster on a range of smart glasses. These glasses look similar to standard sunglasses but will get a 2,200mAh battery, wireless charging, and a voice assistant feature.
The glasses are IP67 water and dust-resistant, gets Bluetooth, and NFC and also gets a USB Type-C port.
